Scorekeepers
Scorekeepers are responsible for accurately recording the details of each play in the scorebook, including:
- Pitches: Keeping an accurate count of all pitches thrown and recording them after each batter.
- Batters: Recording balls, strikes, and how each batter reaches base.
- Runs and Outs: Tracking the number of runs scored and outs for each team.
- RBI: Identifying runs batted in.
- Scoreboard: Updating the scoreboard after each pitch, out, and run.
- Pitcher Days of rest: Calculate days of rest and obtain manager signatures after each game.
Pitch Counters
Pitch counters are responsible for announcing the pitch count at the start of each half inning and:
- Umpire Notification: Informing the umpire when the pitcher reaches the maximum pitch limit for the game or week.
All competitive divisions (AA and up)
must haveat least one scorekeeper. We recommend having 2-3 scorekeepers to ensure coverage for each game.
The Home team is responsible for providing the Scorekeeper, while the Visiting team provides the Pitch Counter. All scorekeepers
must attend the scorekeeping clinic.

We use GameChanger (GC) to track games, scoring, pitch counts, and other game details for competitive divisions (AA and above).
Single A and T-ball divisions will not be using GameChanger at this time.
Get Your GC Team and Division Link: Ask your Manager or Coach for the link to your team and division on GameChanger.
