Basic Training:
During training, participants receive detailed instructions on how to run the Snack Bar, including opening and closing procedures, as well as food and beverage handling.
For those who complete training:
✅ They may be contacted by any team looking for shift coverage.
✅ They must agree on compensation, payment method, and shift time.
✅ They should confirm all details before committing to a shift.
Sharing the shift time is extremely important so participants can arrive on time. All shifts begin before game time—usually 15 to 30 minutes prior. Punctuality is key! Arriving late not only impacts the Snack Bar’s ability to serve the community efficiently but also affects the worker who is already there and expecting to leave on time. Consideration and responsibility help keep things running smoothly.
Additionally, families choosing to have an approved participant cover their shift must notify us via a designated spreadsheet (coming soon) to document who will be covering the team’s shift.
We look forward to a great season! Our trained workers are ready to serve, and we hope the community enjoys great customer service at the TVLL Snack Bar. It’s exciting to see so many eager to contribute to our Little League’s success. Thank you all for your support!
